My work:
After meeting someone and hearing their compelling story, director Ivan Leric was inspired to create this self-produced short film. This project not only reflects Leric’s unique vision and creative talents but also carries the influence of the inspiring encounter that ignited his artistic journey. Moreover, Ivan Leric approached me to design the sound for this film, adding an extra layer of collaboration to this captivating cinematic experience.
In my capacity, I directed my attention to the following facets of the project :
- Crafting a customized sound design that seamlessly integrated with the film’s narrative, dynamically responding to its emotional nuances and thematic depth.
- Tailoring the soundscapes to harmonize perfectly with the pacing, atmosphere, and narrative elements of « Le Détour, » thereby intensifying the audience’s emotional connection with the characters and storyline.
- Collaborating closely with the film’s creative team to gain an in-depth understanding of their vision and artistic direction, ensuring a seamless fusion of sound and visuals.game’s atmosphere.
- Ensuring that the sound design served as a powerful storytelling tool, effectively conveying the film’s central message and amplifying its overall impact.
My involvement in « Le Détour » allowed me to further refine my skills in sound design, editing, and mixing, both for cinema and YouTube distribution.
